How can I book my car into the branch?

We’re here waiting for your mail or call. Book on-line with our ‘Book a Job’ form or you can give local branch a call. You’ll find branches and their numbers under the ‘Find a Branch section of the menu.


What are the opening hours of the branch?

Most of our branches are open 08.30 to 18.00 Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and 09.00 to 17.00 on Saturdays. We’re all closed on Sundays.

Opening times vary in some counties, so check with your local branch and they’ll sort you out.


Where are the branches located?

We’re proud to say we’re all over Ireland, with almost 30 branches – so there’s one near you. Find your nearest BestDrive under the ‘Find a Branch section of the menu.


How far in advance do I have to book?

We can usually book you in with 48 hours notice but if you can book earlier you’re more likely to get the time you want.


How can I pay for the work that is carried out?

We accept cash and all standard card payment methods (Pin Verified) – we do not accept personal or third party cheques. Again, talk to us in advance and we can help.


What parts are used in the Service?

BestDrive will only use Original Equipment Manufacturer Approved Parts.

These are high quality approved parts which are less expensive, but meet the same standards as the original parts fitted by the manufacturer. However, if you would like to use the manufacturer’s own parts (known as Original Equipment parts) please just let us know. That way we can let you know if there’s any increase in the price of the job being carried out, plus we can make sure to order them on your behalf and have them in stock in the branch for you on the right day.


Which cars (makes and models) can be brought to BestDrive?

At BestDrive by Continental, we love cars – all of them. We can service all makes and models. Also, we have full diagnostic software for the majority of car manufacturers.


How long will the service take?

It’s best to allow a half day for us to complete your service. A lot of people drop their car in before work and pick it up after work but if you have a particular time requirement, we’d be only too glad to try and facilitate you.


What does the service include?

We carry out a comprehensive 35 point service. The fixed price service is based on the engine size (CC) of the vehicle. This cost includes filters, the new standard oil and the disposal of the used oil and filter.


Are there any other special facilities available?

We stock everything required for routine, manufacturer recommended services but we can do much more. If you have a particular need, such as a replacement wing mirror or fitting, let us know when you’re booking. That way we can have the item ready, on the day of your service.

If in doubt, just ask. It’s safe to say we can do almost anything you need, except air conditioning, crash repairs and panel beating.


Are there any issues with warranty in having my car serviced in BestDrive?

No. Your warranty is safe at BestDrive.

All our procedures and systems are designed to follow manufacturer guidelines, whatever the make or marquee. Using a software package called “Autodata” we can download manufacturer specifications for each car, at the various service intervals.

You have a choice by law. Under E.U. Block Exemption Legislation, car owners are not obliged to only use a main dealer for post-sale service. We will endorse your service book with our brand to confirm the manufacturer’s recommendations have been followed.
