BestDrive by Continental – adidas promotion Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to all ROI residents. Aged 17+. Promotion period is ffrom 2^nd January 2021 to 31^st March 2021. In Branch purchase necessary for the standard in branch prizes where there are a minimum 90 prizes to be won.  

FaceBook promotion requires customers to submit a photo and caption for the various elements that are being sought in the relevant segments. Promotions on FaceBook will run for a period of approximately 2 weeks and each promotion will have its own winner.

Standard Branch promotion:

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

1. Promoter: BestDrive by Continental, John F. Kennedy Drive, Naas Road, Dublin 12. No correspondence to this address please.
2. Eligibility: Competition open to all ROI residents aged 17 years old or over on 1 November 2020. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter, participating retailers, and their agents, anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter this promotion. There is a purchase requirement – entrants must purchase two or more Continental car, van or 4×4 tyre in a single transaction between 2^nd January and 31^st March 2021. Only purchases made at BestDrive by Continental retail outlets
3. Entry Instructions: Qualifying purchasers must complete the Branch guarantee form in the branch. All valid entries will go into a prize draw. Illegible entries will be disregarded. Entries must be received by the closing date.
4. The P An E-voucher for adidas trainers/shoes with Continental rubber compound soles. Trainer sizes cannot be exchanged or returned. Winners are requested to try on a pair of trainers at their local store before ordering. Once ordered prizes cannot be amended.
5. There are a minimum of 90 prizes available, with a minimum of three per BestDrive branch.
6. Winner Selection: BestDrive will undertake a prize draw for correct entries made at their site with independent supervision or via a random computer system producing verifiable random results.
7. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified in writing within 7 days of the draw date. Following that, the winner will have a number of days to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within this time, then another winner will be chosen.
8. General Points: No cash alternative is available in whole or in part except, in the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winners. The Promoter will not be liable for any cancellations, alterations or modifications to the promotion as detailed above or the prizes for any reason which falls outside its reasonable control.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decision and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions , at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
11. By participating in the promotion the entrants herby grant the Promoter, and assigns the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to photograph and video the participant and assigns the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to use, re-use, publish, re-publish, publicly display, perform, transmit, exhibit, and reproduce by name, country of origin, statements, photographs, or other visual representations or likeness, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other material, including without limitation, text, photographs, or images, in any medium including, but not limited to the internet and other electronic media, and for any purposes, including but not limited to advertising, publicity, promotion, and trade, throughout the ROI and rest of world without restriction as to manner, frequency, or duration of usage or any other purpose whatsoever in connection with the sale and marketing of the promoter’s products.
12. Names and counties of winners will be available on request for a period of 1 month following the closing date by sending a self-addressed envelope to BestDrive by Continental, adidas Campaign, Advance House, JFK Drive, Naas Road, Dublin 12.
13. The promoter’s decision is final regarding the selection of winners and no correspondence in respect thereof will be entered into.
14. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, or where entrants are found to be abusing the promotion in any way, will result in the disqualification of all relevant entries.
15. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on Irish law.
16. Facebook: The promotion will also be available as a separate competition on Facebook for a period of time. A number of themed categories will be shown on the BestDrive Facebook site and Facebook users will be asked to submit their pictures or images to link in with the theme of the promotion.
17. Each Facebook promotion will run for a minimum period of two weeks. Winners will be drawn at random by BestDrive and agency staff based on the image and caption submitted. Winners will be asked to send their email address to the agency so the voucher can be sent to them in due course.
18. Each Facebook winner will get a single voucher for €180 to use on a the adidas web portal. Very detailed and specific usage instructions will be given with the voucher.
19. IMPORTANT – Please note that this is a single use voucher and winners must take care not to submit an order with low values as the remaining balance will be forfeited with NO recourse for refund. Winners can spend over the voucher value and they will be asked to supply payment card details on the site to complete the transaction for the balance over €180.00
20. The vouchers for all promotions will expire on 31/12/2021.
